False Claimants – Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani

Qadianism is the name of a sect which came into the existence at the outset of the twentieth century in the northern part of India with the help and connivance of Britain. The founder of this sect was a descendant of Mughal lineage – Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani (exp. 1908). He was an ordinary person from the Ahle Sunnah who took undue advantage of the turmoil and chaotic conditions prevalent in the country and in the year 1891, he claimed that he himself is the promised Mahdi (as) and Hazrat Isa (as). Hazrat Isa and Imam Mahdi (as) –  Two Different Individuals

Some people have confused the positions of Imam Mahdi (as) and Hazrat Isa (as) by saying that they mean the same person. This is the primary belief of Qadianis. However this belief is incorrect. Hazrat Isa (as) is a prophet and messenger of Allah, whereas Imam Mahdi (as) is an Imam. Also both of them are two different individuals as is very evident from the traditions below. (more…)

Mahdi Is From My Progeny – Holy Prophet of Islam (sawa)

There is a rich treasure of several thousands of traditions about the Mahdi which can be found in both Shiite and Sunni books of reference. Mahdi in Sihah Sitta – Part II

The Sihah Sittah or Sihah Sittah (Six Books) is the collective name given to the six famous books of traditions by Ahle Sunnah. The scholars of Ahle Sunnah confirm that the traditions reported from the Prophet (sawa) in these six books are accurate. It is for this reason that according to the beliefs of the Ahle Sunnah, the Sihah Sittah is the second most important reference source after the Quran. (more…)
